New executive at KÉSZ Group – István Sokorai joins the Board of Directors of KÉSZ Holding Zrt. and the Group’s Executive Management as Co-CEO

Effective 1 September 2026, István Sokorai, a highly respected construction and real estate development executive with more than 30 years of professional experience, joins the Board of Directors of KÉSZ Holding Zrt. He will serve as Business and Technical Co-CEO of KÉSZ Holding Zrt. and as CEO of KÉSZ Építő Zrt., the Group’s general contracting company. At Group level, he will also oversee the business and technical functions related to KÉSZ Group’s core construction and engineering activities.

Going forward, István Sokorai will jointly lead the operational management of KÉSZ Holding Zrt. and KÉSZ Group together with Tamás Vida, Co-CEO responsible for Finance and Group Management. In addition to overseeing the Group’s financial, management and service functions, Tamás Vida is also responsible for the energy and other investment portfolios.

Throughout his career, István Sokorai has held several senior executive positions. He served as Development Director at TriGranit Zrt. before taking over the management of Arcadom Zrt. He subsequently spent ten years, until 2020, as Chairman and CEO of the French-owned Colas Hungária Zrt. During the final three years of his tenure, he was also entrusted with overseeing the group’s subsidiaries in Croatia, Slovenia and Romania.

In March 2020, he joined Bayer Construct Group as a co-owner, where he was responsible for managing the activities of Bayer Property Zrt. After two years, he exited the Group in 2022. He also has independent business interests and owns several companies, including the family-owned SKR HOLDING Kft. and Academy Invest Kft., where he is co-owner and managing director together with his sister.
